'Woman'- is a word that invokes up a lot of descriptions in our minds and carries out mixed emotions as selfless love, nurturing and caring attitude. She is a full circle, within her is the power to create, nurture and transform. She is the essence of love, sacrifice, care and ability to nurture life. Women down the ages were not given their due respects yet they went on without complaints. Women since time immemorial had powers to bring change. They fought with against the odds to emerge as winners. Women now are more empowered and society has accepted their stand. Society is changing and paving way for women growth. These changes can be seen in all fields of personal, home front and professional life. A lot may have changed through the ages but many things have remained the same. Women do make a difference in this world. One day/month may not be enough to affirm Women’s importance, but it is certainly one way to honour the role of women in our society.
